Welcome to Beqa Island Trips.
Operated by award winning Beqa Adventure Divers, this is Fiji’s newest outer island adventure!
Our island excursions will take you to the two principal islands within Beqa Lagoon, Beqa and Yanuca.
Situated off the southernmost coast of Fiji’s main island Viti Levu, Beqa Lagoon is a typical South Seas coral atoll. Dubbed The Soft Coral Capital of the World, its sheltered waters offer some of Fiji’s most spectacular diving and snorkeling and the two pristine islands are home of several indigenous villages that have largely retained the traditional South Pacific subsistence way of life.
You will be embarking at our base of operations situated on the grounds of the immaculate Pearl South Pacific Resort and Spa in Pacific Harbour, the Adventure Capital of Fiji.
Transfer time from Nadi/Denarau is approx 3 hours, approx 45 minutes from Suva and approx 1.5 hours from the principal resorts on the Coral Coast. We operate a convenient and affordable roundtrip bus shuttle from the Coral Coast and Suva resorts to coincide with the schedule of your island excursions.
Our magnificent Vessel MV Forty Freedom is a forty-foot aluminum catamaran that was built in Australia and has served as a fast passenger ferry between Perth and Melbourne. Surveyed to carry 40 passengers and fully outfitted with the latest navigational and safety equipment, she is powered by four 4-stroke 225HP outboard engines that will ensure a fast, safe and comfortable ride to the islands.

Our two different excursions have been tailored to fit two distinctly different requirements.
Beqa Magic
Marine Conservation and Cultural Immersion
Every Tuesday and Saturday, 10:00am to 3:30pm
FJD 210.00
This excursion is for those customers who wish to escape the artificial atmosphere of the large coastal resorts and experience genuine subsistence village culture within the beautiful and safe setting of a small self sustaining eco resort.
Your contribution to this project provides for sustainable income to local communities and rewards them for their decision to reserve part of their fishing grounds for a locally managed marine protected area. Beqa Magic is for the more culturally sensitive and adventurous at heart and thus only moderately suitable for infants and young children.
This trip takes us to beautiful Lawaki Beach House on the west-southwest shore of Beqa Island. Nestled amid pristine grounds on a beautiful private beach, this is your temporary base from which to explore Beqa Island. The house reef is part of a large Marine Protected Area that is being managed by the local villages of Naceva and Naiseuseu. All performers, craftsmen and guides hail from those villages and earn a sustainable income at the grassroots level.
